the great outdoors

It's november here in Texas.  Well, I guess it is November everywhere I know about, but we've had some fabulous weather lately so we've spent a fair amount of time in the great outdoors to run off some of that extra little boy energy.  Egan is getting so grown up and has had some pretty hilarious things to say here lately, but those will have to wait just a bit because today I've got some other pictures to share.

This is one where I'm going to just let the pictures speak for themselves for the most part as I've got a lot of work to get done today, but enjoy!

This squirrel was taunting us. I'm not sure what he was up to, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't good.IMG 1065IMG 1069

Egan and Maggie had a good chase around the yard.  Egan is pretty fast, but no match for Maggie.IMG 1073

Eventually, she got worn out and let him give her a nice pat on the tummy.IMG 1083IMG 1087

Then, he went back to playing.IMG 1089

From up here, Egan can spy on the neighbors who have a garage in their back yard.  When they came outside, Egan yelled across the fence and had a nice conversation with them.  He's such a friendly guy.  haha.

Here's to hoping for a mild winter with many more afternoons outside!

  1. What a cutie! Love that he is big enough to do everything on his fort now. Is he still scared to go down the slide?
