I'm a little... or a lot... behind on getting these pictures online. This was from the same trip as the previous pictures with the yellow truck.
One morning, we took Egan to see some life-size dinosaurs that aren't too far from where my parents live. Egan had a blast, and even as I type this is RAVING about the dinosaurs. Truth be told, he was a bit intimidated by their large size and many teeth, but he warmed up by the end.
The various kinds of dinosaurs were scattered around the landscape lining a walkway. At each turn, there was something new to see.
Here was a family of stegosaurus.
A baby something else. (I truly can't remember all the names. Some of them look so similar to me!)
Egan even wore his dinosaur shirt for the occasion.
This is the Jurassic Park version of the above dinosaur. They added the colorful fins for dramatic effect.
They had several dinosaurs surrounding this pond. The colors here are true. Gross!
This was Egan's favorite, the triceratops. I'm not sure why, but every time I ask him... this is what he picks.
... and finally the king of the dinosaurs, TRex. Egan was very nervous at this point and didn't trust he wasn't going to come to life and "get him".
It was a fun morning spent in the age of the dinosaurs, and one Mr. Egan won't soon forget.
Here's another fun thing from our stay.
There are tons of deer where the grandparents live. I mean they are EVERYWHERE, and a friend of my parents feed them, so we took egan to see some deer up close.
They slowly came up after the food was thrown.
One night we saw about 5, but I think there are normally close to a dozen!
