Their first full day in NYC was spent in Central Park. I can't think of a better way to spend a Fall day!
Egan had a blast at the playground.
As always, his favorite was the slide.
Check out the Fall leaves! The weather has been nice and cool, but not quite cold. (Nice shot, Blake!)
Next stop after the playground was the Carousel in Central Park.
At first, Egan wasn't really a fan, but by the end of the first ride, he changed his mind and wanted to ride again, but still wouldn't ride on a horse.
In true Blake fashion, they also made a trip here.
The apple store.
The LEGO store in Rockefeller Center.
Check out this lego statue...
and the real thing!
Check out these sweet boys.
It was about this time that I was able to join in the fun.
We let Egan run around and play a bit before getting back in the stroller. He immediately found this fountain.
I think here he was saying "wa wa" for water.
After Rockefeller, we went to our old neighborhood for an old favorite that has moved into the neighborhood. Shake Shack.
Egan had a hot dog, and loved Every bite.
Blake had a cheeseburger, and I a hamburger. So delicious.
Egan even got to take his first subway ride! (and I convinced Blake to be a tourist and document it!)
After all the fun, we made it back to the hotel just in time for a bath, some books, and bedtime. A full, but fun day in the city.
