You are 15 months old now and getting to be such a big boy. This last week we have been redoing our kitchen, and as I type this, we are driving back from picking you up from your grandparents. I'm so excited to have you back. Our house is just too quiet without you around!
You have learned so much this month. You can say several more words including "tay-tay" for thank you and "yep!" I'm sure there are more, but that is all I can think of at the moment. You babble constantly as you walk around the house, so you may know what you are saying, but we sure have no idea! You love the most simple toys like your ring stacker, books, sticks, balls and metal kitchen bowls. We started going to the library each week to get new books, CDs and movies so you can have new books frequently.
You are moving really quick these days... Almost to the point of running. You keep me on my toes! You like to be out and about and are a real charmer to strangers as you wave and smile. When we go out to eat, you are typically happy which is so nice for mom and dad.
One of my favorite new things you do are animal noises. You know what an owl, lion and snake say. It is so sweet! You have mastered "blowing kisses" and actually release them now. Before, you would just put your hand over your mouth.
You've been swimming several times. You love it! You have even learned how to blow bubbles in the water.
We have so much fun playing "tickle monster." That, along with playing with the dogs are favorite games.
Unfortunately, you have recently learned how to throw a temper tantrum when you don't get what you want. That isn't really fun for me, but I know it is a stage most kids go through, so we are trying to help you learn words so you can express your feelings that way instead.
We are looking forward to the coming months with you to watch you grow and learn new things.
We love you!
