in the double digits

Dear Egan,
You are now TEN months old! As usual, time is flying by faster than I'd like. You are a joy and such a fun little boy. You are always on the move, and there is nowhere in the house you can't get into.
You have officially gone down to two naps, and most days you take two pretty good naps lasting at least an hour and a half, but sometimes more! We've stopped giving you a paci except for in bed during naps and at bed time and boy do you love them. The second you get in bed you want 3 pacis, one for your mouth and one for each hand. You can never have enough!
You are still doing a great job eating. Finger foods are your favorite. They are Bo's favorite as well. He always cleans up your leftovers.

Speaking of Bo, you still love him as well. Every time you see him you smile, and you love you chase him around the house. Right now, he is still faster than you, but I don't think that will last long. Watch out, Bo!
One of the biggest developments is that as you are standing, you are starting to let go of things and stand on your own. You are still a bit wobbly, but getting braver by the day! You are walking a lot holding on to our hands. Quickly, I might add! You are also starting to walk just using one hand for support. Your mom is not ready for this!!! You are cruising along furniture like a pro, bending down to pick up things off the floor, and transferring over to toys and then pushing them across the floor, yes, walking across the floor with the support of a toy. You are taking a bath in the big bathtub and loving it. You crawl at super fast speeds, and when you see something you want, you get this "man on a mission" look in your eye.

We got a new car and you love being able to see out the window. For the most part you are now pretty quiet in the car. I love that as well!
You are waving "hi" and "bye" all the time. It is adorable, and you are so proud of yourself. I love seeing you smile with pride!
(waving to mom during lunch)

You are babbling and blowing raspberries all the time. Most of the time you only say "da da" but we are hearing quite a few other sounds come out of your mouth. You currently have two teeth, but I'm pretty sure a third one is coming in. You've been pretty fussy lately, and I can feel a bit of a bump on your gum.
I just got done giving you a bath and boy did you have fun splashing and getting everything (including your mom!) soaked. (Here's the video.) All was well till you decided it would be a great idea to stand up. As I told you to sit back down (you do know what I mean when I tell you that), you smiled a huge smile and then slipped and bumped your head. You didn't really cry too much, but you got a nice goose egg from it. Sorry baby! I'm sure this won't be the last though.

I can't believe all the changes that you have made this month and I love watching you grow and learn new things every day.
I love you, sweet boy.

Here are a few more pictures from lunch today. Too fun not to share!
