It's about time.

Seriously. Egan's been rolling from his tummy to his back for a LONG time. Remember this? He was only 3 months old.
Until today he'd never rolled from back to front. He's been strong enough to do it for a LONG time. He just hasn't done it.
Here's how it happened. Today, he was laying on the floor on his tummy. He quickly flipped over to his back and couldn't reach his toy. As he was reaching he was so close to rolling, so I grabbed my camera hoping to catch him rolling in action. After just a few minutes of waiting, here's what I caught!

Not incredibly graceful, but I praised him like crazy.

He just looked up at me like. "What's the big deal?" It is times like these that I see so much of his dad in him. I'm in trouble.

This also marks the end of me being able to just put him on a blanket and him staying there. After he rolled, he then turned a 360 while on his tummy scooting around. Oh man, he's going to be crawling in NO time. YIKES!
